Mozambik, Ballito is the home of the Graca Comedy Showdown in June/July.
The venue a regular comedy venue by the D.S.O.C (Durban School of Comedy) has been supported very well and chosen by the DSOC to stage the shows for the Graca Showdown. The competition is for any comedian or person who 'Wants to try' Stand-up Comedy. The winner gets a slot at the ICC with the NANDOS Comedy Fest in August.
Prior to this Durban comedians had to fly to JHB to compete and last year ' Durban Comedy Invasion' Comedians Glen Bo and Dusty Rich were finalists in the National Comp.
Dates for the heats:
WEDNESDAYS: June 29th, July 13th and the final on July 27th.
